"The course has received plaudits for its challenging layout, tree planting scheme - over 1000 trees were planted in 1999 (adding to the substantial mature woodland around the course) and, most importantly of all, its large USGA specification greens which despite being just a few months short of its 3rd birthday, are, from my experience already among the best in Scotland".
